Product Description

The Composite AV Cable connects to your iPod, iPhone, or Universal Dock via the 30-pin dock connector and to your TV, home theater receiver, or stereo receiver via the composite video and red/white analog audio ports. The cable also features a USB connector that you can plug into a power source, such as a computer or the included USB Power Adapter

Instruction Tips:


1) Please make sure you select a video from the iPod app. If you intend to use the AV cable with a different app instead, please check with the app developer to see if video output is supported. The cable may not work if the app itself does not
support video output natively


2) Make sure you have the following video output setup correctly: Setting --> iPod --> TV Out --> "NTSC"


3) Goto the iPod app, tap on the "Video" at the bottom and select a video for replay

-On your device's home screen, tap Settings


-Tap General


-Tap About


-Your device's exact software version is listed next to 'Version'

This was a very reasonably price and excellent item. I am running 4.3.3 and this worked fine. It played movies on my i4iphones app and music from my iTunes app through my tv. It did not play movies that I had on the movie player app. I also think that app does not have video output. So overall I think it is excellent for the price.

I thought it was a sharp item and would have fit my wants well but I could not get it to work on my TV and I don't think it was the seller/products fault. That's why I gave it a four. Packaged well and shipped quickly. Don't want the vendor to suffer because I couldn't get it to work.
