Product Description

Using the Sewell PC to TV converter is easy and simple with zero software to install. The converter features an all-in-one cable that breaks out into the three cables you'll need to connect to your computer: a VGA cable, a 3.5mm stereo audio cable (aka 1/8" stereo audio or mini stereo jack), and a USB cable (just to power the converter). The all-in-one PC-side cable reduces cable clutter immensely. Once the VGA, 3.5mm audio, and USB is connected, you'll just need to connect the red, white, and yellow (right/left audio and composite video respectively) ports to your TV with the provided cables. This unit also supports S-Video output to the TV (optional).


  • Input VGA Resolution 640x480 @ 60/ 72/ 75/ 85Hz , 800x600 @ 60/ 75Hz, 1024x768 @ 60/ 75Hz
  • Output VGA\ VIDEO\ S-VIDEO signal at the same resolution
  • 1 x VGA input, 1 x VGA output (VGA loop-through), 1 x Composite Out (yellow RCA)
  • Dip switch included to change NTSC/PAL formats (default setting is NTSC - North America)

This is a terrific laptop-to-tv adapter. The composite video output enabled me to connect to older and newer TV's while staying at several different hotels on a recent trip. I heartily recommend this adapter for travellers who want to connect laptops to a variety of TV's.

Easily view streaming movies from my laptop (the reason I got it). Small font's can be a little difficult to read. Perfect compromise between picture quality and price. I love the cable setup; easy to manage. I'd buy it again!

This product works really well. Does it exactly what you expect it to, going from your VGA and headphones ports right into your TV. And what's more, all the cables are attached in a clean bundle. Most of the other products out there don't do sound. The Sewell does. I haven't had to mess with the controls on the box itself because it looked so good the first time. All I needed was to reboot my computer and change the resolution. I highly recommend!
